The debate over funding sparked the action

Planned Parenthood supporters rally...

VENTURA, Calif. - Planned Parenthood supporters, including men, women and teens, carried pink signs in front of the Ventura County government center between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturday..

Some of homemade signs read,  "No uterus, No opinion, " and "Mind your own vagina."

Others said, "I Stand with Planned Parenthood."

Participants said they don't want  Republican lawmakers to stop reimbursing clinics that provide access to birth control including abortion.

But they said no federal funds go to abortions.

A couple of anti-abortion protesters were across the street from the rally.

They would like to see Roe v. Wade overturned by the Supreme Court making abortions illegal in the United States.

Similar rallies took place in San Luis Obispo and across the nation on Saturday.
