KJEE Summer Roundup

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Blink-182 got a standing ovation from a crowd of over 4000 as they took to the stage to headline the 9th annual 92.9 KJEE Summer Round-Up.

KJEE and NewsChannel 3's John Palminteri helped introduce KJEE's Phat J and Dave Hanacek.  Together they introduced Blink-182.

Members of the recently reunited band that got its start in San Diego in the early 1990s, showed off their chemistry.

Drummer and plane crash survivor, Travis Barker appeared to have his children sitting off to the side near his drum set.

Many members of the audience captured portions of the show with their cell phones, to take with them a memory.

Earlier in the evening, the lead singer and guitar player for Atlas Genius, out of Australia, took a walk through the crowd.  Fans and photographers loved it.

The Santa Barbara Bowl program said Atlas Genius has yet to signed to a label.

New Politics and New Beat  Fund rounded up the line-up.  The show lasted over four hours.

The finale about 9:45 pm featured confetti cannons.
