SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Charges have been filed against UC Santa Barbara professor Dr. Mireille Miller-Young for her alleged actions against protestors on March 4.

Santa Barbara County District Attorney Joyce E. Dudley announced several misdemeanor charges Friday morning. Miller-Young is accused of taking a protestor's sign, committing a battery on another protestor and then destroying the sign.

Members of an anti-abortion ministry, Survivors of the Abortion Holocaust are accusing Miller-Young, a women's studies professor of stealing a 4'by 5' foot poster of a fetus during a protest.
