Employment seekers of all ages are invited to a job fair Tuesday afternoon in Santa Maria.
Applicants with all levels of experience are encouraged to attend to seek positions.
"This Job Fair is being presented at the perfect time for both employers and job seekers," said Bob Hatch, President and CEO of the Santa Maria Valley Chamber of Commerce.
"Our local employers are looking for permanent and part-time employment prospects, as well as seasonal workers. This is a great opportunity to connect those employers with qualified job applicants," Hatch said.
Doors to the job fair open at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Abel Maldonado Community Youth Center at 600 South McClelland Street. The event runs until 5:00 p.m.
Agencies involved with the Job Fair include California EDD, the Santa Barbara County Workforce Investment Board, the Santa Maria Valley Chamber of Commerce, Workforce Resource Center, the Economic Development Commission, Allan Hancock College and the Santa Maria Teen Coalition.
