ISLA VISTA, Calif. -

An interactive Homelessness Action Summit took place Monday.

Participants were given remote controls to take part in the discussion at U.C. Santa Barbara's Campbell Hall.

Speakers included the Director of the 100,000 Homes campaign to reduce homelessness in Times Square.
Speakers from Fresno and Pasadena also talked about programs making a difference in their communities.

The summit will be followed by a half-day workshop to bring the speakers and the local homelessness organization together.
