Foodbank Phone Scam
SANTA MARIA, Calif. -

If you receive a phone call from the Foodbank of Santa Barbara County, it's a scam.

The foodbank says they never call people to ask for money.

There have been complaints of automated calls to residents asking for donations.

The foodbank wants you to know the only ways to donate to them are in person, through mail, over the phone, or on their website.

If you receive a suspicious phone call, call the foodbank at (805) 967-5741 to let them know.
