SANTA BARBARA, Calif. -

The Animal Shelter Assistance Program in Santa Barbara has six sets of furry felines ready to become part of a loving family.

They are offering an adoption special this weekend only at $14 a pair, which includes spay and neutering and vaccinations.

The reason they are looking for new homes together is because they are a bonded pair.

"Cats that we've specially designated as being very connected, having a relationship with each other that we feel if we separated them would greatly reduce their quality of life," said ASAP executive director Angela Walters Rockwell.

During February, Santa Barbara County Animal Services is hoping to help you to find your perfect pet at one of three community animal shelters, Mondays through Saturdays, or at La Cumbre Mall on Sundays from 11-2.

Shelters:

Santa Maria at 548 W. Foster Rd

Lompoc at 1501 W. Central Ave

Santa Barbara at 5473 Overpass Rd.

All three shelters are open Monday through Friday from 10am until 4:30pm and Saturdays from 10am until 4pm. Make it a date; adopt a pet today!
