SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - It's a wrap for the 29th Annual Santa Barbara International Film Festival.
This year, some of the most iconic actors and directors in cinema walked the red carpet, and took home festival honors at The Arlington Theatre.
Over the course of 11 days, Leonardo DiCaprio, Martin Scorsese, Cate Blanchett, David. O. Russell, Oprah Winfrey, Robert Redford and Bruce Dern greeted fans waiting outside the theatre for autographs and connected with fans inside who came to hear them talk about their careers.
The festival came to a close on Sunday night with a presentation of the critically acclaimed Before Trilogy: Before Sunrise, Before Sunset and Before Midnight. Actors and co-screenwriters Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy introduced the latter to the audience, then stayed for an in-depth conversation after the screening.
On the red carpet, Film Festival Executive Director Roger Durling gave NewsChannel 3 exclusive information about next year's festival. He said, "It's the 30th anniversary, and what you might expect is an expansion of the celebrations. You might see a few days added to the festival. Instead of 11 days, maybe we'll go up to 13 or 14 days."Slideshow: Sights from Santa Barbara International Film Festival 2014
