The dancers love dresses that are one-of-a-kind, but they come at a price.
The dancers said they spend about $400.00 per costume and they usually need two.
The Spirit and Junior Spirit need several outfits to perform solo during a number of Old Spanish Days events.
El presidentes spend plenty of money, too.
Rudy Castillo can still fit into his fiesta suit. The 1976, El Presidente bought his suit in Tijuana for about $350.00.
Castillo said mariachi style suits cost about $1500.00 to $2,000.00 today,
