SANTA BARBARA, Calif. -

With less than a day away from El Desfile Historico, fiesta parade crews are hard at work putting the finishing touches the floats.

This years theme is 'Coastal Frontier.' You'll see nine floats in the parade, three new ones including one by Hearts Therapeutic Equestrian Center.

Organizers will work on their floats until 1 a.m. and be back at it at 6 a.m Friday morning before the parade kicksoff.

"We are one day away from the parade and we're about 90% done," said Alex Castellanos, Spanish Days Director. "We had three truck loads of flowers drop off yesterday so we will be decorating all the carriages that you see and all the floats will also be decorated with flowers."

The parade will feature more than 600 horses, antique carriages, wagons, and plenty of music.

NewsChannel 3 will air the Fiesta Parade, El Desfile Historico live starting at noon on Friday, and will also stream the parade live on KEYT.com.
