OXNARD, Calif. - Women's History Month is coming to close with a number of events at Oxnard High School.

Students are learning about women during their lunch break at an inaugural event hosted by the Oxnard High School's Feminist Club.

Members used laptops to create presentations about women who have inspired them.

Students shared stories about Aung San Suu Kyi, Gloria Steinem, Frida Kahlo, Malala, Juana Ines de La Cruz, Florence Kennedy and many others on Wednesday and Thursday afternoon.

Another closing event will be held in the College and Career Center on Friday.

The female students outnumbered the males, but organizers didn't seem to mind.

Student enjoyed free pizza and snacks while they talked about women throughout history.
