OJAI, Calif. - A swing band that once played the Super Bowl  performed a benefit show for Cal State University Channel Islands.

Big Bad Voodoo Daddy performed in Ojai's Libbey Bowl on Saturday night during the CSU Channel Islands President's Dinner & Concert.

About 900 fans attended and many of them got up and danced.

Band members from Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties got their start playing clubs in Ventura.

CI president Erika Beck said the money raised will support scholarships and student programs on the Camarillo campus.
