ARROYO GRANDE, Calif. - San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Gang Task Force personnel arrested a wanted felon they had been searching for since last year after fleeing from authorities.
The Sheriff's Office said 37-year-old Arroyo Grande resident Sean Michael Cullen fled from deputies on Dec. 10, 2017, after they tried to stop him on the Nipomo Mesa for a probation violation. Deputies discovered a stolen handgun when Cullen's car was searched, say investigators.
On Wednesday, Jan. 3, at about 12:30 p.m., authorities served a search warrant at a home in the 500 block of Pinecone Way in rural Arroyo Grande and took Cullen into custody without incident.
Investigators found more than an ounce of black tar heroin, about 8 grams of meth, and approximately 500 dollars in cash during the serving of the warrant.
Cullen was arrested for being a felon in possession of a firearm as well as failing to appear on a felony charge and probation violations.
