SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - A man and a woman were arrested and a toddler was turned over to Child Welfare Services after police executed a search warrant at a San Luis Obispo home.
On Thursday, San Luis Police Department detectives conducted a parole search and search warrant at a home in the Silver City Mobile Home Park at 3860 South Higuera Street.
Detectives entered the home and located Angel Resendez, 34, and Amanda Bunker, 37, as well as Bunker's 2-year-old son.
During the search, detectives found about one pound of methamphetamine, a quarter-pound of cocaine, an ounce of heroin, over nine-thousand dollars in cash and a loaded handgun.
Resendez and Bunker were booked into the San Luis Obispo County Jail for possession of narcotics for sales and child endangerment.
The toddler was put into protective custody with Child Welfare Services.
Resendez could face multiple drug charges as well as charges for illegally possessing an armed firearm and child endangerment.
Bunker could face charges for possession for sales of cocaine and heroin, possession for sales of methamphetamine and child endangerment.
