Avila Beach car burglary suspects...

AVILA BEACH, Calif. - The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office is asking the community for help identifying two individuals accused of burglarizing a car in Avila Beach, stealing credit cards, and then using those credit cards to make unauthorized purchases.

Authorities released photos taken from surveillance videos from two stores showing two Hispanic men of average height and medium build making purchases with the stolen credit cards.

Authorities say the car burglary happened on April 24 at the Bob Jones trailhead.

The victims told police their car was broken into between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. and three credit cards from one of the victim's purse were stolen.

The Sheriff's Office says the credit cards were used at the Pismo Beach Outlets and neighboring businesses on the same day they were stolen. Over $3,000 dollars worth of purchases were made with those credit cards.

If anyone recognizes the individuals in the photographs, they're asked to call the Sheriff's Office Coast Station at 805-528-6083.
