Police searching for suspects who held Santa Paula family at gun point

Woman and two children interrupted burglary

SANTA PAULA, Calif. - The Santa Paula Police Department is searching for three men who broke into a home in Santa Paula and then held the family at gun point last Monday.

The break-in took place at a residence on the 1100 Block of Fuchsia Lane on Monday, August 14.

Police say that three African-American men broke in and burglarized the home. A woman who lived at the home and her two children arrived to find the men still inside the home.

The men held the family at gun point and demanded the victims turn over all valuables.

The suspects obtained miscellaneous property and multiple firearms from the victim and then fled the area. The woman immediately called 911 while fleeing to a family member's home. The woman and the two children were uninjured.

The thre suspects are being described as three African-American males between the ages of 17 and 25. They were last seen driving a white or silver colored sedan, possibly a Honda, with front driver side damage.
