Police: No suspects in Oxnard homicide

OXNARD, Calif. - A man was shot and killed in Oxnard Saturday night and police are searching for a suspect.

The shooting happened just after 10 p.m. on the 3300 block of Merced Place.

Police arrived and found an unresponsive male who was shot and lying in the street.

The victim was declared dead at the scene.

The Oxnard Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit is investigating the shooting.

The City of Oxnard offers a $10,000.00 reward to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction in homicide cases.
