Oxnard police searching for person of interest in June homicide

Connected to murder of Eduardo Banales

OXNARD, Calif. - The Oxnard Police Department is searching for a person of interest in a June homicide case.

On June 11, 33-year old Eduardo Banales was shot and killed in the parking lot of Wilson Park, on North C Street in Oxnard.

Based on evidence collected, detectives believe the person in this police sketch was at the park during the time of the shooting.

The man is believed to be an Hispanic male in his mid-20's.

Police believe the man could have valuable information that could help the investigation.
