Lompoc police looking for suspect in alleged school threat

LOMPOC, Calif. - Lompoc police are looking for 20-year-old Braxton Sloan Smith after him and a friend allegedly threatened a Fillmore School official with bodily harm.

Police say Smith referred to the victim as a "dirty Mexican" while making threats. Smith's friend, Jasmine Howard was later arrested, but authorities have not yet located Smith.

Smith is described as a black male adult, 5 feet 4 inches tall, 135 lbs, with brown eyes and black hair. He has a tattoo of a cross on his neck, a tattoo on his right arm that says "Misunderstood", and a tattoo on his right wrist that reads "AC".

Lompoc police say Smith is also on active probation for domestic violence.
