GOLETA, Calif. - The Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office is reaching out to the public for help locating a stabbing suspect that left a Goleta resident fighting for his life.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic man in his 40's, approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall with a medium build and shaved or bald head. He was reportedly wearing a dark colored tank top and shorts.
The suspect was last seen possibly driving a dark colored Toyota Solara or Honda Civic type of car with the driver's side headlight and hood damaged.

The victim, whose identity was not released, was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
