Firearm arrest in Oxnard

OXNARD, Calif. - Oxnard Police officers were dispatched to a suspicious vehicle in the 200 block of Glenwood Drive Sunday morning around 12:29 a.m. 

Upon arrival, officers located the vehicle occupied by Joey Dennis, 27 year old Oxnard resident. Dennis was on probation and during the search of his vehicle, officers located a loaded firearm and illegal narcotics. 

Dennis was arrested and later booked into the Ventura County Jail for various weapon and drug violations.
