ORCUTT, Calif. - Authorities in Orcutt are searching for a male driver who fled the scene of a hit-and-run in a residential neighborhood.
Police say the driver fled on foot but not before causing a significant amount of damage.
The crash was reported at about 2:40 p.m. and happened at the intersection of East Foster Road and Dartmouth Lane.
The California Highway Patrol says a black or dark gray 4-door Toyota sedan crashed into a limo parked on the street and then launched onto the sidewalk. The car then got stuck between a retaining wall and power pole.
Witnesses said the driver then took off running.
The homeowner says he's fed up because he's seen numerous crashes at this intersection. He says he's thankful the driver didn't hit his home and hurt his children.
The driver is described as a 17 or 18-year-old Hispanic man, about 6-feet tall with a slim build. He was last seen wearing black shorts and a black hat with some sort of black arm brace on.
