Authorities arrest five in search warrant, compliance check

Arrests include felon in possession of a firearm

SANTA MARIA, Calif. - Five people were arrested Wednesday as part of a community compliance check and search warrant execution at a home in Santa Maria.

The Compliance Response Team requested the assistance from the Sheriff’s Special Investigations Bureau and Santa Maria Police Department to conduct a search warrant service, in conjunction with a Community Supervision compliance check at a residence in the 1800 block of Kent Court.

Authorities were searching for 37-year-old Jaime Coria who was wanted for violation of his terms of community supervision. Investigators found he was associating with people involved in criminal activity which led to the search warrant and community supervision compliance check.
