CAMARILLO, Calif. - Some of Ventura County's top chefs donated their services this evening for Casa Pacifica's ‘Yummie Top Chef’ fundraiser.
Friday night’s speakeasy themed event featured seven courses paired with award winning wines.
Tickets were $200 and all the money goes straight to Casa Pacifica. A home for abused and neglected children in Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties.
"This is the event of the year for sure. All the chefs come together in Ventura County. It is a lot of fun, a great cause, and really we are just having a great time, as you can see look at everybody they are having a blast,” said Chef John Paolone of Café Firenze.
Friday night’s event was just the appetizer for Casa Pacifica's fundraising weekend.
The main event Casa Pacifica's 24th annual Wine, Food, and Brew Festival will take place this Sunday at Cal State University Channel Islands.
