ARROYO GRANDE, Calif. -

A car had to be pulled out of the wall of a home on the 1100 block of Stonecrest Drive in Arroyo Grande on Saturday.

Five Cities Fire was dispatched and found the car had jumped a parking block, crashed through a fence and plunged several feet before striking the exterior of the home. The driver was able to climb into the back seat and get out of the car through a rear door. The front doors were blocked by a fence.

The home had damage to a large bathroom that was unoccupied at the time of the accident.

The fire department secured the scene and determined no electrical or gas lines were hit and the car was removed from the scene.

The driver was not cited.
