ISLA VISTA, Calif. -

UC Santa Barbara hosted a candlelight vigil Saturday night for those affected by the tragedy in Isla Vista that killed seven people, including the gunman.

The vigil filled Storke Plaza in the early evening hours.  It featured speakers and performers who reflected and honored the lives that were lost.  The event was sponsored by the Santa Barbara Response Network, UC Santa Barbara, and Associated Students.

After the vigil, hundreds took part in a memorial walk through Isla Vista.
