Beer truck overturns

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. -

Emergency crews are on scene of a big rig on it's side on the 400 block of Calle Real and Highway 154 entrance. It happened just after 10 a.m. Tuesday.

A NewsChannel 3 reporter on scene said the truck is full of Corona beer. No injuries were reported to the driver of the truck.

Santa Barbara Police said about a 10 gallons of diesel fuel has spilled from the truck. Calle Real at State Street heading to the 154 is closed in both directions.

Officials said the near by roads will be closed for 4-6 hours. Three heavy duty tow trucks are assisting Santa Barbara City Fire.

Broken bottles and boxes will be cleaned up by a Marborg trash truck.

The cause of the accident is under investigation by the Santa Barbara Police Department and the California Highway Patrol.
