Arrests made in Memorial Day stabbing in Santa Barbara
SANTA BARBARA, Calif. -

The Santa Barbara Police Department arrested three teens allegedly involved in a Memorial Day stabbing on Santa Barbara's State Street.

A 17-year-old suspect was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon. Two others are also in custody. Police made the arrests on Wednesday.  

Authorities say the 17-year-old is responsible for stabbing another juvenile during a fight near Canon Perdido Street.

A 15- and 17-year-old were arrested on suspicion of battery, fighting in public, and violation of probation.

All three suspects were booked into Santa Barbara County Juvenile Hall.

Detectives credit witnesses who came forward in cracking the case.
