SANTA MARIA, Calif.- -

On Tuesday students and faculty at Allan Hancock College celebrated the completion of the Student Services Center (SSC), a project that’s been four years in the making.

The SSC consists of a 44,788 square-foot two-story student services building (building A) and a new 21,053 square-foot, two story administrative building (building B).  In addition, the project develops a new North Bradley Road driveway, northeast loop road and parking lot in accordance with the board-approved Bond Measure I Facilities Site and Utilities Master Plan.

Kevin Walthers, superintendent at the Allan Hancock College in Santa Maria, said, “It really makes the college operate like it should in the 21st century.”

 

Measure I provides $180 million to Allan Hancock College – The district includes Solvang, Lompoc, Santa Inez Valley and Santa Maria.
