Zombies Taking Over Lompoc This Weekend

The Lompocalypse is coming to Lompoc and is a way for the walking dead to breathe a little life back into local business.

Wanting to revitalize a struggling economy in Lompoc, 26-year-old Lompoc native Steven Linderholm has organized a zombie walk and other activities to intertwine Halloween with promoting business.

Here's a rundown on Saturday's event:

The Party Shop - 3PM ~ Dead Man's Party
The Party Shop is opening it's doors and hosting Live Music, Zombie School, giveaways, and much more. Second Time Around will be on hand to offer free clothing for costumes and volunteers will be available to help dress and bloody our Zombie Horde. Certain Sparks and Howlin Byroon's are putting together a great line-up of musicians to perform outside of the Party Shop.

The Walk - 7PM ~ Lompocalypse
Our walk will commence at 7pm sharp. We will walk the east side of Hst, from North ave to Ocean ave. Businesses along the route will be providing all kinds of entertainment and food options for any persons that should choose to leave the Walk (it is encouraged that our Zombies stop along the route to eat, drink or hang at "infected zones").

Howlin' Byroon's - 8PM ~ Howlin' At The Moon
Our Walk comes to a finish at Howlin Byroon's Music Exchange, where a live band and d.j. will keep the energy positive, with overflow and families encouraged to continue to Centennial Park for cookies and hot chocolate.

The Zombie Pub Crawl - 10PM ~ Jasper's, Wicked Shamrock, D.J.'S, Johnny's, and Your Place or Mine
All Zombies 21+ are encourage to continue the fun in character to our local bars for drink specials, music and more!
