Warden Bridge closed for repairs

Workers will replace railings and deck wood

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. -

A popular bridge in downtown San Luis Obispo will be closed for eight weeks of repairs.

The Warden Bridge connects Mission Plaza to nearby shops and restaurants.

Work begins Tuesday to replace railings and deck wood. Access on both sides of the bridge has been closed off.

Drivers can still get to Mission Plaza from Chorro and Broad Streets near Mission San Luis Obispo.

The $71,000 project should be completed by the middle of April.
