SANTA BARBARA, Calif. -

They are about to roll out the red carpet at the 24th annual Santa Barbara Fair and Expo. The fair kicks off Wednesday night at the Earl Warren Showgrounds. This year's theme is "We're Going Hollywood."

Crews are working overnight to transform the  show grounds into replicas of famous Hollywood landmarks, including Grauman's Chinese Theater, the Walk of Fame and the Hollywood sign.

Tens of thousands of people are expected over the next five days to enjoy the carnival thrillers, the petting zoo, the food and Hollywood entertainment for the entire family.

The fair runs Wednesday through Sunday night. If you bring a pair of slightly worn shoes to donate to the nonprofit organization "Soles4Souls," admission to the fair will be free on Wednesday.
