San Luis Obispo International Film Festival begins
Five days of film, wine and fun

The San Luis Obispo International Film Festival kicked off Wednesday.
Opening night paid tribute to Industrial Light and Magic that was founded in 1975 by George Lucas to create the special effects seen in Star Wars.
The company has helped with about 300 films. One of the highlights of the festival will come Saturday night when John Hawkes of The Sessions and Winters Bone will be honored.
