Santa Maria police are looking for an attacker who stabbed a man early Tuesday morning.
Police say the stabbing took place outside a home on the 300 block of South Thornburg Street just before 2a.m. Tuesday.
The victim was stabbed at least one time. Police say the injuries were not life-threatening, and the victim refused medical attention.
Police describe the attacker as a Hispanic man, 20-30 years of age, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall with dark hair and dark eyes.
The motive behind the stabbing is unclear.
Police are asking anyone with information regarding the stabbing to call Crime Stoppers 1-877-800-9100.
