Santa Barbara - There's no doubting the fact that people love their pets. Many treat their dog or cat like a member of the family. Some pet owners even swear they know most everything about their furry friend.

But what about those old myths that seem to carry down from generation to generation. You know the one's, like a dog's mouth is cleaner than a humans, or dogs and cats don't get along, or never feed a dog chocolate it could kill them. There are so many.
