Eight people are displaced this morning after a fire ripped through their Goleta home.
Santa Barbara County Fire Department spokesman Capt. David Sadecki tells NewsChannel 3 the fire started just after 4 a.m. Monday at 720 Ribera Drive.
When crews arrived, they found the two-story home in flames. Firefighters were able to knock out the fire within an hour.
The American Red Cross is helping the eight people who lost part of their home in the blaze.
Sadecki says the home did not have working smoke detectors.
No one was hurt. Investigators are looking into what started the fire.
