Hiker Injured on Tunnel Trail

Rushed to Cottage Hospital with head injury

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. -

A man is being treated at the hospital after a head injury while hiking the Tunnel Trail in Santa Barbara.

The call came in just before 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Santa Barbara Sheriff's tell NewsChannel 3 the man was hiking down from Cathedral Peak, when he took a spill and hit his head.

Santa Barbara Sheriff's Search and Rescue, AMR and Santa Barbara County Fire responded. Search crew were able to locate the hiker.
 
The hiker was rushed to Cottage Hospital. No word yet on the severity of his injuries.
