High Winds Along the shore blow away business and boaters

    High winds from the North East forced made boating and other water sports

activities unsafe Saturday afternoon and evening. The Santa Barbara Harbor Patrol

says there's a small craft advisory for inner water and a gale warning for outer waters.

As of Saturday evening  the SB Harbor Patrol reports a successful wind-related

rescue and a successful retrieval of stranded equipment also due to the high winds.

    The whipping winds forced boaters to stay on shore and also scratched boat rentals.

      In the meantime in Santa Barbara County the winds are expected to calm down

and in Ventura County the high winds are expecetd to remain until Sunday.
