Head-on collision sends two people to the hospital

Two people are in the hospital after a head-on collision on Highway 154 in the Happy Valley area.
The accident happened just after 8 a.m. Wednesday. Santa Barbara County Fire spokesperson David Sadecki said two cars were involved with one person in each.
Sadecki confirmed with NewsChannel 3 both patients suffered moderate to serious injuries.
Roads were slick in the area due to rain and the cause of the crash is under investigation by California Highway Patrol.
