GOLETA, Calif. -

The proposed Fresh & Easy in Goleta is still an idea on a drawing board, with the parent company in the process of a large financial evaluation.

Tesco owns the chain of stores with 199 locations in California, Nevada, and Arizona.

A spokesperson says the company is currently doing a strategic review and does not have opening dates for future stores.

That report is expected to be out in two months.
