SANTA BARBARA, Calif. -

A driver crashed into a fire hydrant in Santa Barbara sending water shooting into the air. It happened just after 9 a.m. at the La Cumbre Plaza near Marmelade Restaurant and Starbucks.

Witnesses say the driver got out of the car, snapped a photo, then went home and called police. The water spewed out for about 10 minutes before crews were able to fix the problem.
