Cuyama barn fire under investigation

3000 square foot structure fire, no injuires reported

CUYAMA, Calif. -

Santa Barbara County Fire is investigating a structure that fire broke out Tuesday.

Officials say they received a call just after 10 a.m. in the 2000 block of Foothill road in Cuyama.

Authorities say when they arrived they found a storage building partially on fire.

Firefighters quickly put water on the blaze and prevented it from spending.

County Fire was assisted by Kern County Fire Department, Santa Maria Fire Department, and the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Department.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
