A suspicious death in Oxnard is now being classified as a homicide.
The body of Pamela Sue Silva was found on the 1300 block of E Street Saturday night.
The Ventura County Medical Examiner's Office says an autopsy revealed that Silva was strangled.
The 42-year old woman was a transient.
Detectives are still searching for a motive and suspects in her death.
