Fire Crews Put Out Brush Fire

Written by KEYT Producer

Fire crews have mopped up a small vegetation fire that broke out on an oil field overnight.

It started around 3:00 a.m. on Aliso Canyon Road near the Cuyama area. That's about three and half miles in from Highway 166.

Santa Barbara County Fire Captain David Sadecki says crews have the fire completely out.

Some power lines were down in the fire area, but officials can't confirm whether that was caused by the blaze.

The cause is still under investigation.
