2-car crash sends one person to the hospital

Mission and State Accident

One person was injured in a two-car accident Wednesday night.

It happened just after 9 p.m. at the intersection of Mission and State Street. Fire officials said the cars were traveling in opposites directions when one crossed in front of the other.

One person was taken to Cottage Hospital with minor injuries.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
