Alex Biston

Alex joined the KEYT NewsChannel 3 team in July 2017 as a multimedia journalist and weather anchor.

Previously, Alex worked as a weather forecaster, anchor and reporter at KTVZ NewsChannel 21 in Bend, Oregon. She spent two years covering major weather events from historic snowfall to record breaking heat. She was also a part of team coverage for the Umpqua Community College shooting in 2015, the occupation of the Malhuer National Wildlife Refuge, numerous wildfire that affected Central Oregon,  the 2017 Presidential election and much more.

Alex is originally from Thousand Oaks and graduated from Westlake High School, so being back in California is a homecoming. She graduated from Chapman University with a degree in Television and Broadcast Journalism with a minor in Public Relations. 

Alex is currently pursuing a certification in Broadcast Meteorology from Mississippi State University.
