SOLVANG, Calif. - Thousands of car enthusiasts from across the state descended on the Danish Village of Solvang on Saturday for the Wheels 'n Windmills car show.
The annual event is one of the largest car shows in the state.
Hundreds of classic and vintage automobiles lined the streets of downtown Solvang from Copenhagen Drive to Alisal Road.
Awards were given for a number of categories including best stock vehicle and best modified vehicle.
The event also included a raffle and barbecue with booths set up in Solvang Park and along Copenhagen Drive.
According to their website, the Wheels 'n Windmills car show has raised over $260,000 for local and national charities since 2005.
The party is expected to continue throughout the night as a number of Solvang businesses offered special deals and sales in honor of the event.
