Lucidity Festival brings thousands to Santa Ynez Valley

Santa Ynez, Calif - Thousands are flocking to the Santa Ynez valley for Lucidity. The three-day open-source transformational arts and music festival is expected to entertain nearly 7,000 people.

The gathering is taking over the Live Oak Campgrounds along Highway 154.

Lucidity came to Santa Barbara County last year, and 2013 is expected to be an even bigger event. Musical performances, art expos and tons of organic food fill much of the 40-acer campground.

"There's going to be a lot of performers, few different stages, also a lot of artwork," festival volunteer Lydia Graijalva said. "There's a little bit of everything."

Festival organizers say Lucidity is also an environmental experience and an opportunity for people to be more in touch with nature.

"Our endeavor is to make Live Oak better after having been here," said Lucidity organizer Spencer Weiner.

Lucidity will be rockin' the Santa Ynez Valley throughout the weekend.
