VENTURA, Calif. - This weekend is all about the legendary Johnny Cash at the 7th annual Roadshow Revival: A Tribute to the Music of Johnny Cash!
The Walking Phoenixes, a tribute band from Los Angeles, is just one of many talented artists taking part in the two-day festival.
For the first time this year, it will take place in downtown Ventura at Mission Park.
Organizers say it's fun for the whole family from music to food and beverage and even a car show, all honoring the late singer in his old stomping grounds.
"You know he bought a home up in Casitas Springs in the 60s and from there all of his daughters went to school in Ventura," said festival founder Ross Emery. "They pretty much graduated so they grew up there."
