SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - A closing reception took place on Tuesday night for a photography exhibit at the Jewish Community Center in Santa Barbara.
Curator Lynn Holley said the show entitled "Exposed" included 101 black and white and color photographs.
The photographs of all sizes lined the hallways and filling the gallery. "Exposed" had an open theme. There are no photography studios in Santa Barbara, so Holley said the JCC space is special.
The curator of photography from the Santa Barbara Museum of Art judged the show.
Emily Hara won first place for a large photograph of a couch. She said she also sold a photograph.
Hara was thrilled and said she still enjoys using old-fashioned film and a large format camera.
